Rifaxiheal 550 Tablet 10 is used to treat infectious diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with diarrhoea in adults. It contains rifaximin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that works by killing the bacteria causing the infection, thereby relieving symptoms such as watery stools, stomach cramps, and bloating.
In addition to its main use, the tablet also manages irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea (IBS-D), traveller’s diarrhoea caused by non-invasive strains of Escherichia coli, and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
