Rivaright (rivaroxaban) is an oral anticoagulant, commonly referred to as a “blood thinner,” designed to help treat and prevent dangerous blood clots. It is used to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and pulmonary embolism (PE) by inhibiting specific clotting factors in the blood.
- Conditions Treated: Indicated to help reduce the risk of venous thromboembolism (blood clots in the legs or lungs).
- Stroke Prevention: Used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in individuals with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
